Bonnie update. The ointment worked the first time I put it in her eye. Three applications in and the eye looks roughly like the other one. I reported this to the vet. The vet said keep going until the tube is out.

Which is how all antibiotics work, supposedly. The thing that looks done is not done. Bonnie, for her part, figured out yesterday that I am not arriving with treats. Which means we get to do this dance three or four times a day, mostly against her will, until the tube runs dry.
